Continuity & Cable Testers
The Southwire 40040S tester provides a simple way of checking continuity on wires and cables, and can trace up to three cables at a time. The bright LEDs and loud beeper provide a positive indication of continuity and polarity. Use this tester for correct wiring, opens, shorts, reversals, miswires, split pairs, and shielded cables.
The M550 data/video cable tester gives instant continuity status for Cat 3 through 7a and coaxial cables. This unit features a rugged double-molded tester body and easy-to-interpret LED display.
Both have a detachable remote that allows cables and wires to be tested after installation. Units include leads and cable required to connect to any number of cable types, as well as batteries.
