Strain relief plates provide a mounting surface where cables, conduits, cords, hoses or wires can be safely secured with cable ties, providing a secure, reliable mounting mechanism. Panel-mount or DIN mount styles offer installation flexibility.
Cable entry systems are multi-part frame and grommet systems that allow cables to be installed through an enclosure and other bulkhead surfaces. These systems give better mechanical stability while achieving a high degree of environmental protection. Available in split-frame or solid-frame versions, these systems provide both terminated and non-terminated cables easy passage into electrical enclosures.

Split-frame entry systems allow pre-made or terminated cables to be installed without the need to disassemble the connectors for installation. Solid-frame entry systems are used for installations of non-terminated cables. Both versions are robust designs that provide easy cable entry while maintaining environmental protection.
Grommets are used with matching cable entry frames to provide the correct opening size for each cable and to secure the cables while providing strain relief and maintaining environmental ratings. Grommets are available in various small or medium sizes with no opening, one opening and in double cable and multi-line versions.
The discharge plate provides a means to eliminate interference that can occur on cable shields. This discharge plate can only be used with the KDL/D 24/12 (ADC part number 568321) frame and should be installed on the inside of the control cabinet, directly onto the fixing points of the cable entry frame.
ZL and KAF series cable strain relief plates are used wherever strain relief for cables, conduits, cords, or wires is required or to route them in a secure, easy, and cost-effective way.
