The UG6946 series allows standstill monitoring for safety motion applications, without the need for additional external sensors. Unlike other standstill monitors, this device doesn’t require a safe rated encoder or pulse counter to detect a stopped motor, reducing system cost and removing potential failure points. AutomationDirect offers options for a traditional motor starter as well as for VFD or servo applications. This series is smaller than our LH series and allows a muting option on certain models. The UG6929 series of relay extension modules works with nearly any safety relay to allow additional safety outputs to be added to a safety system. This is very useful if you need to add extra safety devices to a relay that is already at capacity. Because these modules are DIN rail mountable, they can be mounted next to existing relays and be added to the system with minimal additional wiring or headache. New options allow up to 7 normally open safety outputs and 1 normally closed monitoring output.
