The Productivity PLC platform provides you the tools to get the most out of your automation control system. One of these tools is the Productivity Simulator. This tool allows you to test various aspects of your PLC code, from your PC, without the need for actual PLC hardware. I love using this simulator to test my C-more HMI interface to my Productivity PLC. Let show how to do a quick test with interfacing a numeric entry from a C-more HMI to my Productivity PLC. With My Productivity Programming software open, and my project active, just hit this simulator button here. And now I will need to transfer the project to my PC emulation. Now My PLC code is actively running in my PC. I will open up the Dataview and I have assigned these 2 tags to a numeric display and a numeric entry on my C-more HMI. Here is my C-more HMI being displayed shown using the FREE C-more mobile app. And if I enter a new value for this tag, on my HMI I see that change in my DataView. If I make a change to this TAG, I see that it immediately changes on my HMI. This can be a powerful tool to help you test and verify your PLC control system before you go to deploy it.
