AutomationDirect's CLICK PLC has now added the Ethernet/IP Protocol. Allowing the CLICK to work as an Ethernet/IP adapter to any compatible EtherNet/IP controller. Now, this really opens up the possibilities with CLICK. Now, you can integrate Click with your upstream Controller or even better use Click to replace your expensive Distributed I/O systems. Click here to Download the latest software. CLICK has been always been mindful of keeping it simple and with this EtherNet/IP setup they have one-upped themselves. Select here on the EtherNet/IP setup. Enable the CLICK as an EtherNet/IP adapter by selecting here. Select how many Data blocks you want to configure. Now down here, you will place the data registers that you want to share. Input portion is what the controller will be reading from the CLICK. The output portion is what the Upstream controller will be writing to the CLICK Now that you have defined your blocks. Here is the connection information that your EtherNet/Ip Scanner will need for a manual setup. And to make it even easier, if your EtherNet/IP master can use EDS files, just select here and save your file, and then import your EDS file into your controller. Once that is done, just send the Project to the PLC and start building your integrated system. CLICK offers many ways that you can save and reduce the frustration.
