When you setup a panel, you specify the expected timeout values here in the panel manager. This list will depend on the PLC you are using – this example is using the Automation Direct Click PLC. This timeout is the amount of time the C-More Micro will wait on a reply before trying again. If a communications issue prevents a message from reaching the panel in time, an hour glass will appear on the screen letting you know there is a timeout issue. You can change the time it takes for the hour glass to appear or even disable it entirely from the Setup Menu. Hold down the F1 and F5 keys at the same time for 3 seconds. We can’t do that with a mouse cursor, but the simulator allows you to simulate that by right clicking and selecting Go To SETUP Menu. Choose “Setting” then scroll down to “Hourglass” and you can set the time out to anything you want – OR – you can disable it if you don’t want the cursor to appear at all.
