Today I am going to show you our new low capacitance data Cables for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 applications in industrial environments. Our customers have asked, and our product team has provided…so we can become YOUR one stop shop for all of your automation needs. We have 15 new part numbers with each style in 100ft, 500ft and 1000ft lengths. RS – 485 comes in 1, 2 or 3 pair and the RS-232 and RS-422 are in 2 or 3 pair. These data cables are color coded 24 gauge, tinned copper twisted pairs to reduce electrical noise. The combination foil and braid shields protect from radiated or conducted EMI across the frequency spectrum. The overall foil shield with 100% cable coverage provides excellent protection from higher frequency noise. And, a drain wire is provided to easily terminate the foil shield. The second shield layer is a woven braid for minimizing low frequency interference while providing structural integrity to the overall cable.
