Hey Teams! Welcome to the first content update for the AutomationDirect Destination Deep Space VR Simulator! In this update, we’ve added the frequently requested ability to raise or lower the plates in the cargo ships by pointing at the fins and pulling the trigger on your motion controller. We’ve also added the ability to drive one of the robots from this year’s game animation! Just make sure you’re standing IN the driver’s station, then use either the touchpads on the Vive Controllers - without pressing down, Joysticks on the Oculus controllers, or an XBox Controller to drive the robot! The right joystick controls movement, while the left joystick controls cannon rotation. You can drive around, pickup game objects, and launch them using the trigger. You’ll also notice there are monitors at each red team driver’s station - these activate with the sand storm and allow you to drive from your robot’s perspective. You can also turn the monitors on or off by touching them. We’ve also added a start button and a reset button. The start button lowers the sand storm and begins a typical match complete with sound effects. The reset button resets the field. We hope you have fun with this content update and look forward to hearing your feedback!
