Welcome to Kickstart where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Today I am going to show you our new Aluminum DIN rail. Automation Direct has offered steel Din rail and accessories for over 15 years. We have now further extended our DIN rail selection to include Aluminum Din rail in standard and raised rail as well as added several new steel riser brackets and Din rail clips. There are 12 new parts with this latest product offering. Our new aluminum DIN rail is lighter weight than steel din rail and easier to cut. Aluminum DIN rail is designed only to be used with terminal blocks whereas steel din rail can be used with PLCs, contactors and more. Our new Aluminum DIN rail is 35mm wide x 10mm high and is slotted for easy mounting. It can be purchased in packs of 2 or 10. The Raised Rail is 35mm wide x 58mm high which raises terminal blocks 2 and? inches above the back panel and can be purchased in packs of 2. Next is our DIN Rail support brackets. These are steel and treated with galvanic zinc plating and passivation. We offer these in heights of 1, 2, 2.75 and 3.5-inch-tall and are all flat styles while the 2-inch-tall are available in 30-degree angled style as well as flat style. These are sold in packs of 10 and the screws are included. Last is our DIN rail mounting clips. These are great for products that don’t offer DIN rail mounting options like this zip port block. As you can see in this close up, I have attached one of our new Din Rail clips and now this zip port can be snap mounted onto din rail. These are sold in packs of 5 or 40. You can find the agency approvals and specs for these new DIN rails and accessories on our website at: www.automationdirect.com Don’t forget: we sell steel DIN Rail and mounting accessories as well hundreds of styles of terminal blocks to mount on your new DIN rail to finish out your control panel.
