Mounting for the XGB PLC is accomplished using a 35mm DIN rail. After completely assembling your PLC rack, pull all the DIN rail hooks on the bottom of the CPU and modules to the full down position. You can then place the PLC rack onto the DIN rail and push all DIN rail hooks upwards to lock the rack in place. There are a few considerations when designing the mounting location. The PLC rack requires 30mm of open space above and below. The left and right sides of the rack require wire ducts to be at least 5mm away, panel walls to be at least 20mm away and any other device to be at least 50mm away. The front of the PLC needs at least 100mm of clearance. The rack needs to be oriented with the face of the CPU and modules perpendicular to the ground with the top side up. Incorrect orientation or insufficient clearance may void the warranty. Most modules require external power supplied to them as well. Some cards have the power supplied through the input, output, or common terminals; some cards have dedicated external power terminals. Refer to the documentation or help file topic for your module to see external power requirements.
