Have you seen AutomationDirects newest PLC, the Productivity 2000? This brand new model of PLC is part of the Productivity family and was developed from scratch with suggestions from our customers. The productivity2000 has features like, compact size, powerful CPU, OLED displays, free software and more! Here are just SOME of the main features: The Productivitys slim form factor allows a lot of I/O, in a very small space. The bases are available in 4, 7, 11, and 15-slot models and can be DIN rail or flush mounted. Any combination of I/O modules may be installed in a base without power budget considerations and I/O cards and specialty modules can be inserted into any slot. Each I/O module includes a pull-down QR coded tab which can be scanned from any smart phone or tablet to get the latest specifications and documentation. There are over 25 I/O cards to choose from and up to 240 I/O points available. The productivity2000 offers a high end CPU. The P2-550 CPU has 50 MB of memory and fast scan times. It has five built-in communication ports with RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, Remote I/O for GS Drives and USB for programming. Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, ASCII, & custom protocols are Included! Need more communications? Then pick up an optional 4 port serial communication module. The p2-550 supports, a removable micro SD card slot for data storage and portable program downloads. The P2-550 CPU features LED status indicators as well as a 4 line x 10 character high-resolution OLED diagnostic text display with keypad for status, configuration, system alarms and user-defined messages. The hardware displays actual data and not just a blinking light. Get instant, accurate process variable data as well as system diagnostics in real-time with the OLED displays. No need to connect a multi- meter in line with the analog signal. View the signal in volts, milliamps, or degrees or view the resulting tag value that is being processed by the PLC. "No Problem" programming is programming without restrictions. The Productivity2000 is a tag name based controller which allows for more freedom and flexibility than fixed-memory controllers. Do you need 2000 timers but only 15 counters? No problem! Or maybe 4000 real numbers and only 30 integers? No problem. Easily import your tag database into HMI/SCADA software such as Point of View, C-more and Dataworx for trouble-free development. The productivity2000 has no practical limit on the number of PID loops, timer or counter commands! Speaking of PID, productivity2000 has a 5 minute PID. Complex operations like PID loops are made effortless with ProductivitySuite's easy to use, fill-in-the-blank, function block style instructions. With 50MB of user memory you can configure, tune and control as many processes as you need without limits. Easy setup with auto-discovered I/O. Install each I/O module in the base and it will be automatically discovered by the software. Physical I/O tags will be generated based on the module's position in the base and that's it! You are free to program with the auto-configured settings or reconfigure the setup and assign new tags manually. Productivity PLCs even auto-discover VFDs VFD Setup in seconds. Connect up to 16 of our GS1, GS2, or Durapulse (GS3) drives via Ethernet (using our GS-EDRV modules), and the Productivity PLC can automatically detect the drives when a configuration update is requested. Built in Data Logging. Track up to 64 tags at a time and save the data to the removable micro-SD card housed in the CPU. Capture up to 32GB of data either periodically or when certain events occur. Log tag data, system errors and system events which can be used to track efficiency and performance, troubleshoot reoccurring or intermittent faults, and predict future breakdowns. You can also access your log data securely from any connected web browser via the built-in secure web server! Flash devices can also be used to upload or download a project to/from a Productivity2000 without having a PC present. Hot-swap I/O! Avoid costly shutdowns, production losses and long start-up operations with Productivity2000 hot-swappable hardware. All the I/O modules for the Productivity2000 are hot- swappable! Three wiring options are available to better serve the specific needs of your application. Two terminal blocks; one screw type, and one clamp type are available, as well as our ZIPLink wiring system.
