Toshiba AS3 AC Drive Run from Keypad from AutomationDirect

In this video, we will set up the Toshiba AS3 drive to be operated from the keypad. Press the escape button and use the scroll wheel to scroll to extended parameters and press okay. In the extended parameters menu, scroll to parameter 3.7 and press okay. Scroll to parameter F750 which is easy key function and press okay. Select option two hand auto switching and press okay. Now press the escape button twice to return to the setting mode menu. Scroll and select option four, basic parameters. Use the scroll wheel and select panel forward reverse run select. Press okay. Choose option two forward run with switch forward reverse by panel and press the okay button. Use the scroll wheel to select frequency command select one and press okay. For frequency command scroll and select option 10 touch wheel one and press the okay button. Press the escape button three times to return to the standard mode screen. Press the okay button and use the scroll wheel to set desired run frequency. Press the okay button. Use the hand auto button to select hand mode. Use the forward reverse button to select motor rotation. Press the run button. The frequency starts to ramp up. When you press the okay button while the drive is running, you can actually change the frequency. Press the stop button and the drive ramps down to a stop.
