Monday Minute at AutomationDirect. AutomationDirect offers thousands of enclosures and accessories and have added more thermal management devices from the STEGO brand. Check out the top-mount roof fans with filters, in axial or high-capacity versions. They are available in 24-volts DC and 115- and 230-volts AC. Rack-mount fan trays provide high-performance forced air circulation in switch and server enclosures, and concerted cooling of 19in rack mounted component groups. Three and nine fan styles are available for deeper and larger racks. 24-volt DC, compact enclosure fan heaters are available in foot or DIN rail mounting styles and offer internal or external temperature sensors. These fan heaters prevent formation of condensation and frost. Normally closed (N.C.) adjustable thermostats regulate heaters or other devices when temperatures fall below the setpoint value. Normally open (N.O.) versions activate cooling devices when temperature exceeds the setpoint value. Ambient sensors measure temperature and humidity and the Smart Sensor outputs a 4-20 mA or IO-Link signal that can be used by control/monitoring devices to provide reliable temperature regulation, early problem detection, or monitor heater performance. Additional pressure compensation plugs control pressure within the enclosure by equalizing the pressure differential between the enclosure and the outside environment.
