Expansion modules snap onto the side of any BRX Micro PLC Unit (MPU) or BRX Remote I/O controller. Newly added BRX discrete I/O modules include 5, 8, and 16-point relay output modules with Form A (SPST) and Form C (SPDT) options; 16-point 2-5 VDC discrete input and output modules; a 16-point 2-5 VDC discrete combination input/output module. In addition, a new Pluggable Option Module (POM) with full Ethernet capability and support for MQTT Client, Do-more, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet remote I/O, and Modbus TCP protocols (for use with Ethernet MPUs only) has also been added to the lineup.

Monday Minute at AutomationDirect. AutomationDirect recently launched six more discrete IO modules and one new Ethernet pluggable option module for our BRX PLC line. The newly added BRX discrete I/O modules include a high current 5-point relay output module with Form C SPDT relays. This 5-point relay output module works with 5-125 volts DC or 5-254 volts AC. We also added an 8, and 16-point relay output module with Form A SPST dry contact relays. Rounding out the new additions are 16-point 2-5 VDC discrete input and output modules and a 16-point 2-5 VDC discrete combination input/output module. These expansion modules easily snap onto the side of any BRX Micro PLC Unit or BRX Remote I/O controller.
