AutomationDirect's new ProSense line of digital panel meters offers a simple and cost-effective solution to display analog process, temperature, load cell, and potentiometer inputs. With all models, configuration parameters can be totally or selectively locked out to prevent unauthorized or accidental changes to the meter's operation. Two-point direct or reverse acting linear scaling values can be entered manually or by introducing actual sensed process values in Teach mode. Models feature IP65-rated meter faces and are available with 1/32 and 1/8 DIN housings to take up minimal panel space.
Welcome to Kickstart where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Today I am going to show you our new Digital Panel Meters by our brand: ProSense. The ProSense series panel meters offer a simple, feature packed digital display of analog process signals, temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius from RTD or Thermocouple temperature sensors, load cell, potentiometer inputs, voltage or 4-20 mA signals. There are 3 different series with 21 new panel meters. These new ProSense Digital Panel meters offer simple menu - driven pushbutton configurations. The DPM1 series has a 4 digit red LED display with selectable decimal point and can be scaled from -1999 to 9999. Temperature input models offer 0.1 or 1 degree of resolution over a fixed temperature range. Models are available with two SPST relays and a 4-20mA output. The DPM1 models come in a 1/32 DIN size. The DPM2 offer a 4 digit red LED display with selectable decimal point and can be scaled from - 9999 to 9999. Temperature inputs can be displayed with 0.1 or 1 degree of resolution over a fixed temperature range. One DPM2 comes with two SPDT relays and all come in a 1/8 DIN size. The DPM3 have 5-digit tri-color red, green or amber LED displays and can be easily scaled from -19999 to 39999 with selectable decimal point location. Temperature inputs can be displayed with 0.1 or 1 degree of resolution over a fixed temperature range. Models are available with two SPDT or four SPST relays. Additionally the display color can be set to change on relay operation and some models come with a 4-20mA analog output. They all come in a 1/8 DIN size. You can get these in a range of supply power from AC or DC voltage or loop powered. Depending on the model configuration parameters can be totally and/or selectively locked out to prevent unauthorized or accidental changes to the meter's operation. Some models feature memory and reset of minimum and maximum display values, three tare functions, display hold function, filtering to minimize display bounce, and display brightness adjustment. These ProSense digital panel meters all have an IP65 rating on the panel face and they are backed by a 3 year warranty. Each unit panel meter comes with a wire connector tool like this (show example) so no need to search for the appropriate screwdriver when connecting wires. Each panel includes a variety of unit labels so you can identify the input types the panel is configured for.
