AutomationDirect has added a variety of new industrial, low-cost inductive proximity sensors to their portfolio. Added are 8mm triple-sensing inductive proximity sensors in flush and non-flush mounting options, which can detect ferrous metals up to a distance of 6mm. Also new are inductive proximity sensors with a metal face to provide more durable protection, with environmental ratings of IP65/66/67/68 and IP69K. They are available in 8mm, 12mm, 18mm and 30mm barrel sizes, with convenient M8 or M12 quick-disconnect connections. The new ProSense proximity sensors have a lifetime warranty.
