They are made of a rugged polyamide housing, suitable for applications requiring frequent washing. They attach directly to a rotating shaft that captures the rotational movement and converts it into a readable position value. The value is presented on a large LCD display which offers a wide viewing angle and excellent readability with either 5-, or 6-digit characters depending on model. These Elesa position indicators are battery powered with a user-replaceable lithium battery. Spoked handwheels are also available for applications requiring precise manual positioning or alignment of equipment or machinery and reducer bushings are available in imperial and metric sizes to adapt machine shafts. These Elesa position indicators have these agency approvals, offer an IP 65 or 67 rating and come with a one-year warranty.
