Welcome to Kickstart where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Well today I am going to show you a new 40mm square proximity sensor that we are selling. It is called an LF40. AutomationDirect has been selling proximity sensors for over 10 years and we constantly add more sensors to our lineup so that we can become your ONE STOP SHOP. If you haven't purchased sensors from AutomationDirect, I challenge you to look at what we have to offer. Our prices are much lower than our competitors and we offer quality sensors that you can have in your hands the next day! There are 4 part numbers on this new LF40 sensor lineup. You can get this with a flush or non-flush sensing range or what is termed shielded or unshielded. You can get these in a normally open, or a normally open/normally closed complementary configuration. All of these sensors require DC voltage and they are PNP and have an M12 quick disconnect so don't forget to pick up a cable like one of these straight throughs or one of these 90° cables like we have here These sensors have a green power LED and a yellow status LED and the indicators are very visible at most angles. Now they are mountable through the holes located in the base as seen here. And one of the best features of this sensor is the Five Selectable positions. So let me demonstrate what I mean real quickly (as I let you zoom in): As you can see, the sensing face is right here on the top and it's facing up. So, if I loosen the screw here, I can rotate that sensing face 180 degrees, tighten the screw back up, and now the sensing face is going to be facing down. Now, I can also rotate that at three other positions. So there is a total of five positions and you see the reason why is because all sides of the base have the same mounting holes. Or you can rotate the face back and actually have it sensing at the top. As always, AutomationDirect offers a 30 day money back guarantee and these sensors have a limited lifetime warranty. These are IEC-IP 67 rated and you can find the agency approvals and specs for these on our website at : www.automationdirect.com Don't forget, we offer hundreds of other sensors and we sell cables, and accessories as well, so take a look at what we have at AutomationDirect. Check back with us often on AutomationDirect's websites or on Youtube.com/Automationdirect for more Kickstart videos. If you are watching us today on YouTube, please let us know what you think about the sensor or how you plan to use one in your next application by dropping us a comment down below. Thanks for watching and we hope to see you again real soon.
