These motors are round and the gears are hob here in the United States. All the gears are metal, no plastic gears in any Ironhorse gear motors. These DC motors either have leads or a motor mounted junction box. Externally replaceable brushes can be mounted in any orientation, offered double shielded ball bearings are permanently lubricated and have a reversible design that can be driven by SCR or PWM DC drives or connected straight to the rated DC voltage.
