Ethernet Cables
Ethernet is a multi-purpose communication protocol that has become the defacto data standard for industrial applications. AutomationDirect offers PLCs, HMIs, and drives that support Ethernet protocols for data distribution, software programming, and configuration. Industrial Ethernet cables with copper conductors are designed with additional protections, including foil shields and shielded connectors, to reduce the effects of (EMI) electromagnetic interference. These cables are ideal for all our Ethernet-based products and other devices that support Ethernet communications.
Fiber optic Ethernet cables contain optical fibers that transmit data signals as light, so they are naturally immune to electromagnetic interference. These cables are ideally paired with STRIDE Ethernet switches with built-in fiber optic ports or STRIDE transceiver modules.

These straight-through and crossover patch cables with RJ45 connectors exceed Cat5e cable specs and will create solid, reliable Ethernet networks for any application.
