Class RK5 fuses offer cost-effective current limiting and are recommended for AC power distribution mains, feeders, and branch circuits for motors, transformers, or heating / lighting. In ratings up to 600A, Edison EC series dual-element time-delay fuses offer a minimum 10 second delay at a 5x fuse rating.

Current Limiting Class RK5 Fuses
These dual element, time-delay fuses have minimum industry standard time-delay of 10 seconds at 5 times the fuse rating.
- ECNR Series: 1 to 600 A, 250VAC, 200kA interrupt rating
- ECSR Series: 3 to 600 A, 600VAC, 200kA interrupt rating
- True dual-element construction allows sizing of 125% FLA for motor backup protection
Suitable for:
- AC power distribution system mains, feeders, and branch circuits having inductive loads (motors, transformers)
- Non-inductive loads (lighting, heating) where the available short-circuit current does not exceed 200,000 RMS symmetrical amperes.
These fuses meet the following agency approvals:
- UL Listed, Class RK5, Guide JDDZ, File E162363
- CSA Certified HRCI-R per C22.2, No. 248.12
