Current-limiting high-speed Class J drive-rated fuses combine the performance of high-speed semiconductor fuses and the convenience of Class J branch-circuit fuses in one small package. In ratings up to 600A, the Edison JHL series provides maximum protection for AC and DC drives and controllers.
Current Limiting High-Speed Class J Drive Fuses
JHL series class J fuses provide the benefits of high-speed semiconductor fuses along with the convenience of Class J branch-circuit fuses. These fuses provide supreme protection for AC and DC variable frequency drives and controllers.
- JHL Series: 1 to 600 A, 600VAC, fast-acting, 200kA interrupt rating
- Allows the lowest I2t let-through energy of any branch-circuit overcurrent protective device
- Meets UL, CSA, and NEC requirements for branch circuit protection device
Suitable for:
- Power semiconductor devices that utilize diodes, GTOs, SCRs, or SSRs
- GS and DURAPULSE drives in non-UL applications (fuse the drive according to NEC guidelines (NEC Article 430))
- In UL applications, GS and DURAPULSE drives require Class T fuses (refer to the drive's user manual for details)
