Open-frame data communication racks provide threaded rails on the front and back of the rack to ensure flexibility when mounting equipment. These steel racks are available in styles including 2-post welded or knockdown, 2-post seismic environment, and desktop racking.

Open Racks
Hammond open-frame data communication racks allow flexible and easy installation of rack equipment by providing rack unit divider markers and threaded rails on the front and back of the rack. These racks are made of steel and are available in various styles, including seismic environment models engineered to perform in very critical environments, and a desktop model ideal for small IT projects, security, and AV applications.
- Multiple holes provided for mounting power distribution, cable management, and other accessories
- Side mounting holes can also be used to gang racks together
- Bonding is possible using two pairs of integrated 10-32 ground studs
- Desktop racking available in 6U, 8U, 12U, and 16U heights
- Full-size racks available in heights ranging from 24U to 48U
