IEC Overload Relays
Overload relays are essential for protecting motors from overheating caused by overloads and failures to start. Eaton, Fuji Electric, Schneider Electric, WEG Electric, and our own AutomationDirect and IronHorse brand IEC overload relays are compatible with their respective contactors. Additionally, these relays can be used with DIN rail/panel mount adapters to operate as standalone units compatible with any brand or type of contactor to create a complete motor starter. Electronic overload relays leverage microprocessor technology to provide precise protection against overloads and phase loss, while thermal overload relays safeguard motors from overheating due to excessive current.
