Solenoid Process (Pipeline) Valves

Process (pipeline) valves allow on/off control and/or mixing and diverting of process media such as air, oil, inert gas, water, and even some caustic materials. Both stacking and discretely plumbed NITRA pipeline valves offer 2 ports for on/off control or 3 ports for mixing/diverting operations.

Solenoid Process (Pipeline) Valves

Compact solenoid process valves are very useful for controlling the on/off flow of pressurized gasses or liquids through small pipes on a machine or piece of equipment. They are available in 2-port (2-way) and 3-port (3-way), 2-position versions. A 2-way, 2-position solenoid operated media separated version is also available that ensures the working components (metal) of the valve do not come into contact with the working fluid.

NITRA poppet and diaphragm-type process valves provide flow control of compressed air used in industrial machinery. Depending on series, the following options are available:

Composite bodies with brass or stainless steel operators
Brass bodies with brass operator

Stacking Process Valves

NITRA DVP-2C and DVP-3C series valves can be stacked into a multiple output bank of solenoid valves. These valves feature a fully encapsulated coil, spring compensated plunger seats for long life, and a miniature stackable composite valve body.

The advantage to this design is the versatility to stock single units and build, mix, and match to meet specifications. In most cases these valves reduce inventory costs and lower installation costs over a conventional manifold valve series. The coils are supplied with DIN connectors installed. Features include:

Glass filled nylon body, Viton seals, brass operator
2 and 3-way stackable poppet style valves
1/8" FNPT ports
2-position, normally closed, spring return
24 VDC, 24 VAC, or 120 VAC solenoids
DIN style wiring connector

Media Separated Process Valves

The NITRA DVM-2B series valves are media separated, dry operator, 2-way, 2-position solenoid operated valves for use with gases or fluids where the working components of the valve do not come into contact with the media being controlled. The body construction makes these valves compatible with air, gases, water and chemicals.
