Special Purpose Pneumatic Fittings
Category Selection
Special purpose push-to-connect fittings are simple, convenient air fittings that serve specific functions including open/closing a pneumatic circuit, exhausting unwanted pressures, regulating air flow, and monitoring air pressure. These fittings work with flexible tubing and can easily be installed anywhere in the air line. Certain fittings are suitable for multiple media.

Flow Control Valves
NITRA push-to-connect flow control valves (pneumatic speed controllers) provide accurate air flow regulation for precise motion control of pneumatic cylinders.
- Elbow meter-in, meter-out and inline flow valve configurations
- Inch and metric sizes
- NPT, BSPT (R) and BSPP (G) thread styles available
- Nickel-plated brass or thermoplastic bodies, stainless steel tube gripping claws, nickel-plated threads with pre-applied Teflon sealant
- All valves compatible with air; nickel-plated brass bodied valves also compatible with inert gases
- Valve bodies can be rotated after installation
- Release rings are color coded to differentiate between meter-in and meter-out
- Working pressure up to 150 psi
- Working temperature up 140°F

Check Valves and Stop Valves

- CITO check valves
Check valves allow air flow in one direction and block air flow in the reverse direction.
Pilot-operated check valves work as a normal check valve until pressure is applied to the pilot port, allowing reverse flow.
Stop valves block upstream air pressure when the downstream pneumatic tube is removed from the fitting.
