Special Purpose Pneumatic Fittings
Pneumatic devices combined with these convenient push-to-connect fittings create miniature versions of popular system components, including regulators, gauges, flow controls, quick exhaust and hand valves. Special-purpose fittings can be plumbed into a machine either permanently or for temporary use.

Special Purpose Pneumatic Fittings
Special purpose push-to-connect fittings are simple, convenient air fittings that serve specific functions including open/closing
a pneumatic circuit, exhausting unwanted pressures, regulating air flow, and monitoring air pressure. These fittings work with
flexible tubing and can easily be installed anywhere in the air line.
Flow Control Valves
NITRA Pneumatic push-to-connect air flow control valves (pneumatic speed controllers) provide accurate air flow regulation for
precise motion control of pneumatic cylinders.
Elbow meter-in, meter-out and inline flow valve configurations
Inch and metric sizes
NPT, BSPT (R) and BSPP (G) thread styles available
Tough thermoplastic bodies, stainless steel tube gripping claws, nickel-plated threads with pre-applied Teflon sealant
Valve bodies can be rotated after installation
Release rings are color coded to differentiate between meter-in and meter-out
For use with air systems only
Working pressure up to 150 psi
Working temperature up 140°F
Quick Exhaust Valves
Quick exhaust valves are ideal for use with pneumatic actuators that require a very fast stroke speed.
Technopolymer body and nickel-plated brass valve insert
Pressure range of 7 to 150 psi
Normal flow is from inlet to outlet ports
Reversing flow from outlet is directed to exhaust port
Pneumatic hand valves allow manual control of the air supply anywhere in the circuit.
2-way and 3-way manual shutoff valves with or without locking capability, in technopolymer
bodies with nickel-plated brass internal parts
Union straight manual hand valves with thermoplastic (PBT) body and stainless steel gripping claws
A selection of Inch / metric fitting sizes available
Pressure range of 0 to 150 psi
Lockable valves keep valve in closed position during maintenance (lock and 2 keys included)
Pressure Regulators / Gauges / Indicators
Monitor and control air pressure at any point in the pneumatic system with these easily installed
pressure gauges, regulators, and indicators.
Pressure regulators easily adjust downstream air in a range of 15 to 120 psi; built-in relief valve will exhaust over-pressure
Pressure gauges install easily anywhere in a pneumatic circuit, and offer a measurement range of 0 to 170 psi
Pressure indicators have a pressure range of 29 to 145 psi.
No / Low Pressure (< 29 psi) - indicator shows clear
Pressure ON (> 29 psi) - colored (green or orange) indicator appears
Check Valves and Stop Valves
Check valves allow air flow in one direction and block air flow in the reverse direction.
Pilot-operated check valves work as a normal check valve until pressure is applied to the pilot port, allowing reverse flow.
Stop valves block upstream air pressure when the downstream pneumatic tube is removed from the fitting.
Inch and metric valve fitting sizes available
Select models have release rings that are color coded to differentiate between inch (black) and metric (blue) sizes)
Check valves available in thermoplastic push-to-connect or nickel-plated brass threaded models
Push-to-connect models are for use with polyurethane tubing or nylon tubing
Shuttle valves automatically select the higher of two inlet pressures and direct that flow to the outlet.
Various porting options, including push-to-connect fittings and threaded connections
Nickel-plated brass threads
Low cracking pressure (less than 1 psi)
NITRA Bleed Valves
Bleed valves offer an easy solution to release trapped or excess air pressure from a pneumatic system. Simply press the
button to exhaust air pressure.
Release 100 cubic inches in 4 seconds
Nickel-plated brass body and threads
Available with standard pipe thread or 10-32 thread connection
Accessories for Special Purpose Pneumatic Fittings
Mounting bracket, fits all push-to-connect fittings, plated steel
Pneumatic U-tubes, polyamide, 1/4 or 5/16 inch, works with push-to-connect fittings
