Productivity3000 Modular PLC - Motion & Specialty Modules
Category Selection
Applications that require precise positioning or coordinated movements need modules capable of accurately tracking and supplying high-frequency pulse trains.
- High-speed input modules can detect extremely fast input pulses, such as encoder signals, independent of the CPU scan, guaranteeing more accurate pulse tracking.
- High-speed output modules can provide the pulses needed for precision control with stepper motors used in motion control applications.
- Enhanced motion controllers, like the PS-AMC, provide highly accurate positioning using encoder fed control (one encoder per axis) and are capable of coordinated motion between up to 4 axis. Used in conjunction with select Productivity CPUs and programmed with the FREE Productivity Suite software, the AMC can supply up to 1MHz of pulse-train command signals to servo or stepper drives for extremely responsive movements in flying cut-off systems, press feeds, in-line bottle filling, label applicators, rotary tables, and more.
An input simulator module is also provided to enable testing of PLC control logic by supplying manually changed input signals. They can also be used to supply ON/OFF commands that initiate specific functions in the PLC.
