Productivity Open (Arduino-compatible) Controller - Controllers & Shields

The ProductivityOpen platform provides all the great features of a standard Arduino plus the added power and reliability of an industrial controller.

• The P1AM controllers are able to recognize most available Arduino MKR format shields, all of the industrially-hardened Productivity shields, and can utilize most Arduino sketch or CircuitPython programs (depending on model) found on open-source websites.
• Both the P1AM-100 and P1AM-200 can utilize the readily-available Arduino integrated development environment (IDE), and be programmed using C++ code; the ProductivityBlocks graphical programming interface, available for the P1AM-100 only, uses a more visual approach that simplifies coding and reduces syntax errors.
• The P1AM-200 CPU also supports CircuitPython programming that features a runtime interpreter instead of a compiler, allowing for greater flexibility with code editors and code syntax. Any type of text editor can be used to program the P1AM-200, and as with Arduino IDE programming, CircuitPython has a large open-source development community providing users with a wide assortment of libraries and example code for various applications.
• Both CPUs support the full suite of Productivity1000 I/O expansion modules, including: discrete, analog, temperature, relay, high-speed input, pulse-width-modulation
