Industrialized I/O modules add dependable control and monitoring of field conditions/devices to the ProductivityOpen controller. Select Productivity1000 series discrete, relay, analog, and specialty modules easily receive and/or transmit current, voltage, temperature, high-speed or pulse width modulated signals.
The ProductivityOpen CPU was designed to work with industrial-grade Productivity1000 I/O modules to easily incorporate industry standard control signals into the open platform. On the right side of the ProductivityOpen CPU, the system can be expanded with low-cost Productivity1000 stackable discrete, analog, and specialty I/O modules. Up to 240 discrete I/O points or up to 120 analog channels, using a variety of voltage/current ranges, are possible and are easily added/removed from the CPU.
DC I/O modules monitor ON/OFF signals or control devices that switch DC power and are available in input, output, combination input/output, and AC/DC models; models are available with up to 16 points.
AC I/O modules monitor and control ON/OFF type devices that operate with AC power (120-240 VAC) and are available in input or output models with up to 8 points.
Relay modules provide surge-protected outputs to operate DC or AC rated devices (6-24 VDC / 6-120 VAC) and are available with Form C (normally open/normally closed) and/or Form A (normally open) relay contacts, with up to 16 points.
Analog input and output modules are available to monitor and control pressure, temperature, flow, level and other process signals. Signal specifications include 4-20mA, 0-10VDC, and several other common ranges. Modules are available with up to 8 channels, depending on model.
Motion and specialty modules are designed to perform specific functions, including input simulation, high-speed counting, and pulse width modulation.
