17 Plyshield Tape
Plymouth Rubber® 17 Plyshield® tape is an ethylene propylene rubber-based, self-amalgamating and conducting tape ideal for use on power cable where accommodation for expansion and contraction due to load cycling is important. This tape has excellent stretch and allows conformability to complex shapes, and is compatible with all extruded dielectric cable insulations.

Plymouth Rubber® 150 ASTM splicing compound rubber tape is a 30 mil self-amalgamating, low voltage tape that can be used in conjunction with a jacketing tape to insulate cable splices through 2kV. This tape is compatible with low and high-density polyethylene and polypropylene cables, and all rubber and PVC cable elements. This tape conforms easily and self-amalgamates into a homogenous, void-free mass to provide an effective moisture seal.
