Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing incorporates a layer of hot-melt adhesive on the inside that, when heated, melts and flows, creating a secure waterproof seal.
Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing is ideal for:
- Sealing and insulating electrical splices and connectors in damp or wet locations
- Protecting and repairing cable jackets on automotive and marine wiring
- Providing strain relief at terminals and connections
- Sealing cable entries and providing a barrier against fluid ingress
