Pin and Sleeve Devices
Category Selection
Pin and sleeve wiring connectors ensure reliable electrical continuity even in extreme environments. With a tough insulated PBT housing, neoprene sealing glands, and a keyed interlocking shroud, these connectors will withstand impact and abuse, seal out contaminants and moisture, and prevent accidental disconnection while under load.
Pin and sleeve plugs (male cord-end connectors) and inlets (male panel-mounted connectors) feature a solid brass pin construction that provides long life and reliable electrical contact. Connectors (female cord-end connectors) and receptacles (female panel-mounted connectors) feature spring-loaded gasketed covers for watertight protection when not in use. Cord-end connectors also have gland nuts and bodies with opposing thread profiles to prevent wiring pull-out and reduce wear.

Bryant's pin and sleeve products are designed with keyways to safeguard against connecting devices of different amperage and voltage ratings together. These pin and sleeve devices conform to IEC 60309-1 and IEC 60309-2 international regulations resulting in easy-to-use standardized configurations.

- Self-adjusting contacts provide accurate pin insertion, producing self-cleaning effect as pin is inserted and withdrawn from sleeve
- Phase contacts are recessed in deep insulated chambers to minimize arcing
- Ground contact in forward position ensures first make, last break, neutral contact connects next, then phase contacts
- Terminal screws are backed out for easy assembly
Pin and Sleeve Device Accessories
Accessories for pin and sleeve devices provide optional mounting methods and provide watertight protection for unmated connectors.
- Back boxes feature heavy duty cast aluminum construction with a durable enamel finish
- Adapter plates allow receptacles and inlets to be mounted to back boxes
- Cast aluminum direct mount back boxes permit receptacles to be mounted directly to box without adapter plate
- Closure caps provide a watertight seal for male plugs and flanged inlets when not in use
