Hydraulic hoses enable the flow of hydraulic fluid from one device (e.g., a power unit, valve, manifold, or actuator) to another. They are constructed to be strong and flexible. Typically, hoses are fabricated on-site; these hydraulic hose assemblies are pre-cut and terminated with JIC fittings.

Hydraulic hoses are normally sold in bulk and must be cut to the desired length and terminated with fittings on-site. Some manufacturing facilities have the capability to do this themselves, but oftentimes, a new hydraulic project or replacement requires calling a custom hose company to cut and terminate the hoses. Gates hydraulic hose assemblies alleviate the added time and cost associated with hydraulic hose installation, offering pre-cut and terminated assemblies that are ready for use.

Gates MXT hydraulic hoses from Royal Brass & Hose are built using the latest technology, providing a light, flexible hose assembly with exceptional durability and strong construction for a longer life.
- Heavy-duty construction to withstand the harshest environments
- Terminated with the Gates MegaCrimp coupling, which is stronger and more durable than traditional fittings
- Oil resistant, synthetic, MSHA flame resistant black rubber with reinforced braided steel wire
- Hose diameters from 1/4 inch (-4 size) to 3/4 inch (-12 size)
- Hose assembly lengths up to 10 feet
