Open frame IEC full voltage magnetic motor starters are used for operating polyphase induction motors. These 45mm frame motor starters are comprised of a contactor, overload relay, and heater packs (sold separately) with adjustable FLA dials.

Open Frame Motor Starters
Eaton Freedom Series IEC motor starters are full-voltage magnetic starters designed for operating polyphase induction motors. They feature a compact, space-saving design that is easily DIN-rail mountable in either the vertical or horizontal upright position. These 45mm open-frame motor starters protect motors against running or stalled overcurrents and are available in ratings up to 20 hp (32A) at 480 VAC.
The three-phase, magnetic, non-reversing motor starter assembly includes:
- Contactor with 120 or 240 VAC coil
- Overload relay for installation of interchangeable heater packs
- One normally open auxiliary contact
- Available in IEC Sizes A through F
