Permanent magnet DC gearmotors provide high torque at low speeds for use on unfiltered SCR (Thyristor) rectified AC input, with PWM (pulse width modulated) DC drives, or in across-the-line applications. Models are available in a range of operating voltages, with parallel or right-angle output shafts.

Permanent Magnet DC Gearmotors
Category Selection
Permanent magnet DC gearmotors provide high torque at low speeds and can fit into smaller spaces by using a small motor, saving valuable real estate. The high torque provided by a smaller horsepower motor is accomplished by using an integrated gear reducer to lower the speed and increase torque simultaneously. These gearmotors are designed for use on an unfiltered SCR (Thyristor) rectified AC input. They may also be used with PWM (pulse width modulated) DC variable speed drives or across-the-line applications. DC gearmotors are available in 12, 24, and 90 VDC.
