Solid core current transformers provide a cost-effective means to measure AC current while providing a 0 to 5 Amp output proportional to the current flow measured. They are easy to install, compact, accurate, and ideal for applications such as motor run status, pump dry run indication, and monitoring of conveyors, processes, heaters, and power.

Current transformers convert higher primary currents into low-level 0-5 A signals that can be safely handled by monitoring and indication devices. They provide an accurate, cost-effective interface to panel meters, data loggers, and chart recorders, isolating these devices from the high current of the primary circuit. AcuAMP CTF series solid core current transformers offer a compact, low-cost means of measuring primary current. Two different window opening sizes and numerous secondary ratios are available to meet most applications.
