Humidity Sensors
Humidity sensors measure relative humidity (RH), the percentage of water vapor in the air compared to the maximum it can hold at a given temperature. Because RH depends on temperature, these sensors also measure temperature to ensure accurate readings. Monitoring RH is essential for effective control of humidity levels that can negatively affect control panel elements, HVAC systems, and industrial processes. These sensors also aid in the preservation of sensitive materials by continually monitoring moisture levels so action can be taken before the moisture can transfer from the air to the material.
