Vertical float switches are mounted at the top or bottom of a tank or vessel and have a float that rises or falls along the stem. Magnets within the float actuate a hermetically sealed reed switch as the float rises and lowers with liquid level.
The FLS-VL-900 submersible liquid level switch is weighted for suspension in non-magnetic tanks and can be used in conjunction with a still pipe. Its materials are suitable for water, hydrocarbons, and certain chemicals.
