Rotating paddle level switches provide accurate point level measurement of solid materials stored in tanks, bins and containers. Using a motor-driven rotating paddle, a specific level is detected when the material being monitored covers the paddle's freely rotating blade(s), impeding its rotation. AC and DC powered versions are available, as well as hazardous location models.

ProSense PLS series rotating paddle level switches are point level switches for dry, granular bulk solids. These switches operate by contact with the medium; if the paddle is stopped by the material, the motor's position change operates switch contacts These level switches are available in three shaft lengths, plus a rope version that can be shortened in the field based on the application.
