Bases for Do-more H2 series PLCs provide a means of housing and connecting the installed CPU and I/O. Modular base units have slots for interchangeable I/O connections to the backplane's data bus. T1H stackable PLCs do not use a base chassis; the backplane is constructed through module connections.

Do-more H2 & T1H (Micro Modular & Stackable PLCs) - Bases
Category Selection
With a PLC system, there are different options for connecting I/O modules to the CPU. Some systems have a fixed style where the CPU comes with a fixed set of I/O points. There are stackable styles where the CPU and I/O modules are separate but come with connectors built in that are used to attach the components together. Another option with PLC hardware is the modular base configuration. With this style of PLC, a separate base unit that holds the modular components is needed. Each module will seat into a slot on the base unit that is used to connect the module to the backplane already installed in the base. These bases may be available with different numbers of slots and some with power supplies built in. Typically, the first two leftmost slots are dedicated for the power supply and CPU.

H2 Series PLC Bases
The H2 PLC system utilizes a modular base (sold separately) that houses a power supply, plus a CPU or remote I/O module, and connects the I/O modules to the controller module. With this modular base configuration, I/O is easy to install and modify if needed. Simply slide the I/O module in or out of the base, and when installed, use the locking tabs to secure. Many modules can be hot swapped if required, meaning the module can be swapped with the PLC powered and with no interruption to the control process.

T1H Series Terminal Bases
Terminal bases house Terminator I/O modules and provide a stackable means of I/O expansion. They will accept all T1H/Terminator I/O modules, providing rigidity to the system and easy field wiring connections. Expansion cables are available to continue the data bus from one rack of T1H I/O to another that is less than 1.0 meter away.
- Triple-stack terminals make it easy to wire 2- and 3-wire devices, ensuring clean wiring
- Available in screw clamp and spring clamp versions for both half-size and full-size modules
- Hot stamp silkscreen labeling is used for numbering I/O points, commons, and all power terminals
- Right side to left side expansion cable connects the right side of an I/O base to the left side of the next I/O base
- Left side to left side expansion cable connects the left side of an I/O base to the left side of the next I/O base
- Right side to right side expansion cable connects the right side of an I/O base to the right side of the next I/O base
