Do-more H2 series Ethernet remote I/O modules provide a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet link between the CPU base and remote I/O bases that are located at a distance from the main controller. T1H remote I/O modules allow additional I/O to be added to the local system using Ethernet or Modbus RTU connections.

Category Selection
Many times, control applications are broken out into several different machines or sub-systems that all communicate back to a primary PLC CPU. To connect each I/O point from these remote devices to the main CPU would take numerous, extensive wire runs. The H2/T1H remote I/O modules can be installed at a remote location and communicate all I/O signals back to the main PLC using a single Ethernet or serial communication cable. Distributing I/O this way saves installation time, wiring costs, troubleshooting/wire tracing headaches, and makes it much easier if/when remote devices need wiring modifications or need to be relocated.

H2 Series Remote I/O Modules
The Ethernet Remote Master H2-ERM100 connects Do-more H2 CPU systems to slave I/O over a high-speed Ethernet link (the H2-DM1E CPU can use the on-board Ethernet port for Remote I/O and does not require an ERM). The ERM100 module connects to your control network using Category 5 UTP cables for cable runs up to 100 meters. Use repeaters to extend distances and expand the number of nodes.
- H2-ERM100 10/100BaseT Ethernet Remote Master Module has a 100Mbps data transfer rate and supports TCP/IP, IPX, Modbus TCP/IP, and DHCP Ethernet protocols
- Each ERM module can support up to 16 additional H2-EBC100 systems, 16 Terminator I/O EBC systems (T1H-EBC100), or 16 GS series AC drives
- The ERM Workbench PLC Wizard greatly simplifies the remote master configuration
The H2-EBC100 Ethernet Base Controller modules (EBCs) provide a low-cost, high-performance Ethernet link between an H2 PLC with an H2-ERM module and remote I/O. The H2-EBC100 can also be used to connect your Do-more I/O to a Modbus TCP/IP client (master).
- The H2-EBC100 supports industry standard 10/100BaseT Ethernet communication and is compatible with TCP/IP, IPX, and MODBUS TCP/IP protocols
- The H2-EBC100 modules plug into the CPU slot of any H2/DL205 I/O base and support all H2/DL205 discrete and analog I/O modules, and the H2-SERIO and H2-CTRIO2 specialty modules
- All EBC modules can be configured using NetEdit3, a free Windows software utility

T1H Series Remote I/O Modules
The T1H Modbus network interface module allows you to connect I/O as a slave station on a Modbus RTU network. The T1K-MODBUS can communicate with any Modbus RTU network master using high-level Modbus commands.
- Configure a simple point-to-point network or create a multidrop network using the RS-232, RS-422/485 HD-15 Modbus port
- The T1K-MODBUS also has an auxiliary RJ12 RS-232 serial port that can be used to configure the Modbus port with the T1K-MODBUS Setup Tool
- Two rotary switches are used to designate the module's slave address
The T1H-EBC100 module provides an Ethernet link between T1H series I/O (Terminator I/O) and a Modbus TCP master, or H2 PLC using the H2-ERM module or the on-board Ethernet port for remote I/O.
- The T1H-EBC100 module supports TCP/ IP, UDP/ IP, IPX, and the Modbus TCP/IP application layer protocol at 100 Mbps maximum
- EBC modules are made with industry standard RJ45 connections for easy networking
- All addressing and set-up features are configurable through the software configuration tool
- Supports the full line-up of T1H series I/O discrete and analog modules
