XGB series motion and specialty modules add advanced motion functions beyond the CPU's built-in I/O. EtherCat modules allow connection to up to 16 EtherCat-enabled servo systems, for advanced motion control. High-speed counter input modules add I/O capacity with up to 500 kHz switching frequency.

Applications that require precise positioning or coordinated movements need modules capable of accurately tracking and supplying high-frequency pulse trains.
