Solenoid locking tongue interlock safety switches fit sliding, hinged or lift-off machine guards and provide positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant actuator mechanism. With these models, the solenoid must be energized to release the tongue key.
Just as with standard tongue interlock safety switches, these devices provide reliable monitoring of safety barrier position but with the added feature of a locking solenoid that will hold the key until energized to release. IDEM switches offer robust, dependable operation.
