Hole Cutting & Knockouts
Hole cutting and knockout tools are used to cut precision holes in a variety of materials and are commonly used with enclosures to drill mounting holes for electrical components or create entries or exits through enclosure walls. Several components are available including step drills that allow you to step up the hole diameter without changing the bit, hole saws and knockout punches that cut larger holes by cutting around the hole's perimeter, and deburring tools that remove unwanted protrusions on the newly cut surface.
