GC Valves brand water valves are an excellent choice for potable water applications. They are available with either 303 and 316L stainless steel or Nylon 6 bodies. These NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approved valves are used in the Food & Beverage industry where the product can be consumed by humans. All valves have NSF/ANSI-61-G and NSF-372 certifications.
NS211 Series Piloted Diaphragm Valves
Pilot-operated valves have an armature that acts on a pilot orifice, which releases pressure and volume above the diaphragm, allowing the differential pressure of the fluid to open the valve and control fluid flow.
NS201 Series Zero Differential Valves
Zero differential valves can operate under zero head pressure (do not need a differential pressure across the valve to work)
NS301 Series Direct Acting Valves
Direct acting valves have an armature that acts directly on the valve orifice to control fluid flow & does not require a minimum pressure to operate.
Field voltage changes on GC Valves solenoid valves are acceptable with certain limitations. GC Valves Field Voltage Change (pdf)
