Temperature / Process Controllers
Category Selection
Process and temperature controllers are powerful process control tools, but they offer simple operation. Process controllers take a signal from a temperature device, such as a thermocouple or RTD, or from a pressure/ flow/ level sensor, and maintain a setpoint using an output signal.

Basic Temperature Controllers
Economical SOLO basic single-loop temperature controllers control a heating or cooling process using input from a temperature sensor and maintaining a setpoint using an application-specific output.
- 6 models in 1/16 DIN panel size
- Three control modes: PID, On/Off, and Manual
- Control outputs include relay, voltage pulse, or current (depending on model)
- Alarm outputs: 0 or 2 (depending on model)
- Accepts thermocouple or RTD inputs
- IP66 protection rating
Standard Temperature Controllers
SOLO standard single-loop temperature controllers offer dual outputs to control heating and cooling simultaneously, using a temperature sensor or analog input and maintaining a setpoint with an application-specific output.
- 1/32, 1/16 , 1/8 and 1/4 DIN sizes
- Four control modes: PID, On/Off, Ramp/Soak and Manual
- Control outputs include relay, voltage pulse, current, and/or linear voltage (depending upon controller model)
- Up to three alarm outputs available
- Seventeen alarm types available
- Accepts thermocouple, RTD, or analog inputs
Modular Temperature Controllers
SOLO modular temperature controllers consist of one control module and up to seven expansion modules to support up to eight independent control loops. Each module accepts a variety of inputs and provides two outputs for application-specific functionality.
- DIN-rail mount modules
- Thermocouple, RTD, mA, mV, or voltage inputs
- Two outputs for alarming or PID, On/Off, Ramp/Soak, or manual control modes
- Modules snap together using the built-in extension ports
- Configure with free SL-SOFT SOLO software
Advanced Process Controllers
ProSense advanced process controllers can perform temperature, pressure, level, flow, and other process variable control applications. These 1/4 DIN controllers offer a variety of control, input, output, alarm, and communications options (depending on model), and are configured via the keypad/display or the free downloadable software.
- Thermocouple, RTD, analog mA, mV, V process inputs
- User selectable relay, voltage pulse, or linear current output
- Selectable analog retransmission output
- Models available with additional analog input for remote setpoint and up to 4 contact inputs with 17 selectable functions
- Three configurable alarm outputs with 30 alarm types and 10 alarm functions
- Models without communications, or RS-485 for Modbus slave ASCII / RTU and coordinated control, or Ethernet+RS-485 gateway with Modbus TCP/IP protocol
