Belt Driven Linear Actuators
Belt driven linear actuators use a belt-pully system in lieu of a threaded rod and nut to move a load along a linear path. They operate at longer distances and with less moving parts so there is little wear and tear, providing a long service life.
Igus ZLW series toothed/timing-belt actuators are best suited for light loads at high speeds, up to 5 ft/s. Designed with self-lubricating plastic bearing liners, these actuators provide quiet, grease-free, and maintenance-free operation. Whether used as an individual system or as part of a gantry robot system, the ZLW series offers the ideal solution when both a confined space and faster speeds are required.
