DC power supplies with battery control include an integrated UPS that eliminates downtime by seamlessly switching to battery operation when AC power is lost. Select models feature a control unit that monitors the battery, manages charging, and issues a warning when remaining battery life is low.

DC Power Supplies with Battery Control
A battery control module is part of a battery backup system that also contains a power supply, batteries, and optional monitoring equipment. This system will keep the batteries charged under normal conditions, then seamlessly switch to battery operation on power loss. When combined with a DC power supply, battery control modules make the perfect DC UPS (uninterruptible power system) by providing the means to charge and monitor an external lead-acid battery.
