Non-contact RFID coded safety switches can monitor opening/closing of machine guards, doors, or other machinery. Radio-frequency identification provides the most tamper-proof protection; physical contact is not required between the switch and actuator. Master or unique coded models are available.

RFID Coded Safety Switches
For applications where bypassing the safety switch is a concern, RFID coded switches provide an extra layer of protection, allowing only the properly coded actuator to control the switch.
- Actuators available as master or uniquely coded
- All master coded switch models will work with other master coded actuators including the replacement models available
- All uniquely coded switches are unique per item shipped, with no two alike
- When used in combination with a dual-channel safety relay, RFID coded non-contact safety switches can be used to provide protection up to Category 4 and PLe to IS013849-1

Barrel RFID Coded Non-Contact Safety Switches
IDEM BPF/BMF series' barrel style switches are available in red polyester (BPF series) or 316 stainless steel (BMF series) housings.

- Wide (>6mm) sensing distance

- High tolerance for misalignment
- Stainless steel models are suitable for use in high-hygiene requirement areas
