Safety controllers reduce wiring and the need for multiple safety relays to perform critical safety functions. They can monitor and control multiple safety circuits from a single unit, including safety light curtains, safety switches, and safety mat applications. These controllers operate using monitoring logic and use graphical software for easy programming.
PROTECT PSC1
The Schmersal PROTECT PSC1 safety control system is a compact, programmable safety control system with scalable I/O. E-Stops, light grids, and almost any safety device can be monitored with ease. The universal interface ensures instant connection to every standard fieldbus. All of this from a well-known brand in safety equipment.
The PSC1 Safety Controllers are available in two platforms, the PSC1-C-100 and the PSC1-C-10. Both versions share the following features:
ReeR MOSAIC
The ReeR MOSAIC safety controllers are compact and configurable, designed to make managing safety systems and sensors easier.
The MOSAIC controller is available in two versions: the MOSAIC M1 or M1S modular controller with expandable I/O or the MZERO, which is a standalone controller.

Newest Additions!
Safety controller master modules can function as a standalone controller or as the heart of a modular, expandable system for managing the safety functions of a single machine or an entire plant. All logic is configured with simple drag-and-drop graphics (free software).
Newest Additions!
Safety controller I/O modules expand the capabilities of a modular safety controller system, allowing the addition of digital or analog inputs for monitoring, and safety outputs for control of additional safety-related functions.
Safety speed monitoring modules expand the capabilities of a modular safety controller by adding the ability to monitor the speed of a motor or rotating machine by using proximity switches or encoders.
Relay output modules expand the capabilities of a modular safety controller, allowing additional relay output channels to control additional safety-related functions.
Status output modules expand the capabilities of a modular safety controller, allowing additional status output channels to provide programmable status information to additional safety-related functions.
Communication modules add Fieldbus communications capabilities to a modular safety controller for diagnostics and data transmission purposes.
Newest Additions!
Accessories for safety controllers include expansion connectors for adding modules to a master module, programming cables, pluggable terminal blocks, and memory modules.
